Botanicals

- Boswellia sacra Flück. Boswellia sacra, of the family Burseraceae, is the frankincense tree of southern Arabia and the Horn of Africa.
- Chrysopogon zizanioides (L.) Roberty Chrysopogon zizanioides, vetiver, is a perennial grass of the family Poaceae, native to India and now grown throughout the tropics.
- Cistus ladanifer L. Cistus ladanifer, the gum rockrose, is a Mediterranean shrub whose leaves and stems exude labdanum.

- Lavandula angustifolia Mill. Lavandula angustifolia Mill., fine lavender, grows at altitude on limestone in Haute-Provence.
- Lavandula angustifolia x intermedia Emeric ex Loisel Lavandin is the natural hybrid of fine lavender and spike lavender.
- Aquilaria malaccensis Lam. Aquilaria malaccensis Lam., of the family Thymelaeaceae, is the agarwood tree of Southeast Asia.
