Evernia prunastri (L.) Ach.
Evernia prunastri is the oakmoss of perfumery: a lichen of the Northern Hemisphere’s temperate forests.
Its extract carries atranol and chloroatranol, which EU law prohibits in cosmetics and IFRA’s Standard limits in the extract. No origin record is linked yet.
