Privacy at Radler Parfums

This page says, in plain words, what this website collects about you, why, where it is kept, and what you can ask us to do with it. The site is run by Radler Parfums. You reach us through the contact form on the Atelier page; we publish no email address and no postal address.
The short version
- Reading the site asks nothing of you. The site sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser’s storage.
- We learn who you are only if you write to us through the contact form or join the mailing list. Then we keep what you typed, and nothing more.
- We do not sell or rent your details, and we do not use them for advertising.
- No visitor statistics are collected today. The site runs no analytics.
- To leave the list, or to see, correct or delete your details, write to us through the contact form on the Atelier page.
1. The mailing list
On the Atelier page you can leave your email address to hear when a new fragrance, guide or experiment goes live.
- What we keep: your email address, the date and time you signed up, and a fixed label naming the form you used. The label says which form, not anything about you.
- Why: to send you those occasional notes, and nothing else.
- Where: in a small database run by Cloudflare, our hosting provider (Cloudflare Workers KV). A copy of the signup is also sent to us as a notification email (section 4). That copy holds your email address, the time, the form label and the country your connection appears to come from.
- How long: until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. The site does not delete signups on its own; we remove your address by hand when you ask.
- Sending: the notes go only to people who signed up, and each one carries an unsubscribe link. No note has been sent yet.
- Leaving the list: use the unsubscribe link in any note, or write to us through the contact form, and we remove your address.
2. The contact form
On the Atelier page you can send us a message.
- What we keep: your name, your email address, the subject you chose (optional), your message, and the date and time you sent it. The name and subject are limited to 200 characters and the message to 5,000.
- Why: to read and answer your message.
- Where: in the same Cloudflare database, and as a notification email to us (section 4), which also carries the country your connection appears to come from.
- How long: twelve months from the day you sent it. The site does not delete messages on its own; we delete them by hand at that point, or sooner if you ask.
The calculators, quizzes and other tools elsewhere on the site work entirely in your browser. What you type into them is never sent to us.
3. Protecting the forms from abuse
When a form is sent, the site briefly keeps a count against your IP address, so that one address cannot send more than ten messages or signups in ten minutes. That record expires after ten minutes, and nothing else is stored with it. It is only made when you send a form, never when you simply read the site.
4. Who else handles your details
We use a small number of services to run the site. They handle your details on our behalf, not for their own marketing.
- Cloudflare hosts the site, runs the forms, stores the mailing list and messages, and protects the site from attacks. Like any web host, it handles the technical information every visit carries, such as your IP address, your browser type and the page you asked for, in order to deliver the page. Cloudflare Workers KV keeps data in a small number of central Cloudflare data centres and caches it in others. We have not chosen a region, so we cannot say which country the data sits in.
- Web3Forms relays a copy of each form submission to our email inbox. How long it keeps that copy, and where it processes it, is set out in the Web3Forms privacy policy.
- Our email inbox receives the notification emails, and we answer you from it.
Every file the pages need, fonts and 3D models included, is served from our own domain, so your browser contacts no other server to read the site. We do not share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.
5. Visitor statistics
None today. The site runs no analytics: no visit counter, no tracking script, no beacon. We may later switch on Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare says “does not use any client-side state, such as cookies or localStorage” and does not “fingerprint” individuals; it would show us totals, such as pages viewed and page speed, not individual people. If we do, this page will say so before it starts.
6. Cookies and browser storage
The site sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser’s storage. It reads one optional setting, and only if you have put it there yourself: a display-tier preference named rp-tier in your browser’s local storage, or a tier named in the page address, tells the pages how much to draw. The site never writes that setting. The sound, when you switch it on, and the accord your visit composes live only in the open page and are gone when you leave. As of the date above, a visit to this site sets no cookie at all, ours or Cloudflare’s. Cloudflare can set a small number of strictly necessary security cookies on sites that switch on certain protections; they are listed on Cloudflare’s page Cloudflare Cookies. If that ever applies here, this page will say so.
7. Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can leave the mailing list whenever you like. Send the request through the contact form on the Atelier page; we answer by email, as soon as we can. A request sent through the form is kept like any other message (section 2). You never have to give us your details to read the site.
8. Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us their details, write to us and we will delete them.
9. Security
Every page and every form is sent over an encrypted connection: the site answers only over HTTPS, sends plain http requests to the encrypted address, and tells browsers to keep using HTTPS for a year. We keep what we hold to the minimum above, and the forms accept only the fields listed here. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure.
10. Changes to this page
If what we collect or who handles it changes, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
11. Contact
Radler Parfums, through the contact form on the Atelier page. We publish no email address and no postal address.
