Lavandula angustifolia x intermedia Emeric ex Loisel

Lavandin is the natural hybrid of fine lavender and spike lavender. At Valensole it is cut from about 10 July to the end of the month, after the fine lavender, and distilled for an essential oil the heritage record calls very camphoraceous.

The same record says lavandin gives almost three times as much oil as fine lavender; the site says only “far more” and shows no yield.
