Firmenich
A Geneva maker of synthetic perfumes and flavours, founded in 1895 by the chemist Philippe Chuit and Martin Naef as Chuit & Naef, named Firmenich from 1934 and part of dsm-firmenich since 2023.

A Swiss patent of 1960 assigned to Firmenich & Cie covers the keto-esters to which methyl dihydrojasmonate belongs.
