Labdanum absolute

Labdanum absolute is extracted with ethanol from the resin of the gum rockrose.

The perfume industry takes the resin for its aromatic and fixative properties, where it has stood in for ambergris. It is the base of the teaching amber and chypre accords.

The record

Each field carries its evidence: open a chip for the source, the quoted words and the confidence. A field with nothing behind it says so and stays empty.
